subwoofer help

24.61.120.23

Hi,

Fairly new to HT. I have a Marantz SR5200 and am using a Cambridge Soundworks Subwoofer. I had a problem (shutting itself off)with the original Marantz, and they replaced it. Now that I have rehooked everything up, I cannot get sound through the subwoofer. When I turn the system on, there is definitely a sound coming from it that shows it's "alive", but when I play dvds or cds, etc, nothing comes out. I am 95% sure I have it all hooked up the same way I did before the other receiver problem.

I am looking for someone willing to spend ten or fifteen minutes on the phone with me to help me troubleshoot. Of course I will spring for the phone charge. Familiarity with Marantz SR units would be desirable. If you are willing, email me off list at ddarch44@hotmail.com and I will email back to arrange a time that's good for both of us.

Dave
