The thing is, once (if) you go to a larger screen

you often have to rearreange the room. And the existing speakers may not cut it, both re capability and position. So it's a good idea to make a PLAN, decide what you'd like to have, and choose stuff that fits in with that direction. What works for a small area doesn't necessarily translate well to a larger viewing space the larger screens require. At least that's what I found, depends on what gear you already have.

But yeah, I went for the sound gear first myself, but once I got the "nice" screen, the system seemed rather unbalanced on the audio side, not doing it justice. It is an intangible that I hadn't counted on.
