The picture on my Panasonic Tau is excellent except for the geometry which causes vertical lines to become somewhat distorted as they approach either side of the tube. The dealer says that all $500 tv's have this type of problem and that I would need to go to an HD set (which I can't afford at this time) to avoid it. Any suggestions for dealing with the problem. I've heard that some internal shielding may help, but where would one place it? Is it possible that the speakers are influencing the picture by their proximity to the edge?thanks,
Joe

- If you have external speakers close to the TV cabinet, the magnets can cause pincushion distortion.. - Methos 08:51:43 09/23/02 (0)
