Depends on how old she is, but if in her twenties or thirties I'd go with Pretty in Pink, or the Breakfast Club. Neither has great special effects but are good stories and women love them. Well that is unless she’s gone over the edge and has rejected all things 80's:)However Pretty in Pink does have the added bonus that it is a "coming of age" type film where inept and emasculated men find they are nothing without her powerful self made, and unerring womanhood.
