I'm the manager of the local HIFI store's custom installation department, so this kinda thing is right up my alley. We use Xantech stuff eveyday...it's the best IR control stuff out there.What you need is a IR pickup, a connecting block, IR emitter[s], and a powersupply [wall-wort].
I can help you pick out which pickup/connecting block/etc.. to buy. Xantech's catalogue is extensive and often there's more than one part number that'll "work" in a given situation.
