Panasonic CT-32HL42 and CT-34WX52

Hi, I was wondering if anyone tried or bought any of these two Panasonic TVs: the CT-32HL42 and CT-34WX52. I'd like to know how good these two models are, in overall quality, compare to the Sony KV32HS500 and the KV34XBR800.

Looking for, among other things, possible blackness issues so often related to Panasonic TVs, "squeeze" feature for anamorphic DVD, and if you can turn off the the scan velocity modulation on the Pannys (I heard that the DRC system on the Sony KV32HS500 makes regular tv look like crap and can't be turned off)

I'm not really looking for a 16:9 tv due to their far more expensive prices but for Xmas some stores are selling the CT-34WX52 3300$ CAN. versus 4000$ CAN. for the Sony KV34XBR800.

It may look like a good price but if the CT-34WX52 has a worse picture quality compare to the KV32HS500, I'll go with the 4:3 from Sony and save another 800$.
