Just got my SPL800 subwoofer yesterday. But though it's wonderful with movies (detail and aggressive). When I use the Sonic Frontier Line one pre amp for signal feed into it for music, it's bass volume is just too much. The whole musical range is covered by the bass alone, and I cannot hear any details of vocals or mids instructments. Do I really have to change the volume control and frequency setting when I switch between the movies (output by Denon 1801) to music (using the preamp)?
