I splurged for the RP91 and I have a similar Sony TV that won't take advantage of the progressive scan. Picture is superb. Actually the progressive scan is on or offable. Simply switched it off. Don't know if the rp62 is as programmable. Never know what the future will hold.
Love the player though.Good luck
