I currently use a Yamaha DSP-E492 3 channel amplifier/processor for 5.1-it has analog 5.1 inputs, and my DVD player has built-in Dolby Digital/DTS processing, and it's been fine for DVD-I just route the signal through the processor loop on my tube preamp, and the Yamaha gives me control over volume. However, I want to be able to receive the 5.1 signal my HDTV cable box outputs, and the Yamaha does not have a digital input. Is there a home theater receiver out there that could be configured to give me the 3 channels of amplification for the surrounds/center channel, plus 5.1 analog inputs for DVD and a digital input for the HDTV 5.1 signals that I could route through my processor loop? Thanks for any and all suggestions!
