No, I don't have a five-speaker stereo setting on my amp (I'd be happy with a four-speaker stereo setting!). Keep in mind, I'm very pleased with my system's performance with digital 5:1 sources; it's just the Pro-Logic I'm unhappy with. For example, I use my system to watch regular TV. Some channels sound pretty good with the Pro-Logic, others sound bad. The "bad" channels sound better when I switch to stereo mode..my guess is that in cases where the Pro-Logic in not compatable with the signal, all of the sound comes from the center channnel which, in my case, can't compete with the overall range and sound quality of the two mains (Klipsch KG4's)Do you listen to standard music CD's in Pro-Logic? If you use the stereo setting, wouldn't you like to use your "rear surround" speakers for music listening as well? Anyway, I guess I should've purchased an amp with the setting you asked about. At least I still have the speaker switching box on hand. Thanks.
