More HDTV info for Denver...

Thanks. I'll have to check with Comcast locally to see if we have HDTV over cable. They just bought AT&T Broadband so I'm not sure if HDTV is a priority for them while they are still trying to digest the AT&T acquisition.

I did find some very useful information at the avsforum.com which led me to some additional links. I was curious about OTA HDTV status in the Denver market. We are so behind the rest of the nation but a number local stations have temporary low-power transmitters up on high rise buildings downtown. A consortium of local stations was in a heated battle with Jefferson County to place an HDTV tower up on Lookout Mountain which would serve the entire Denver metro area. This issue appears to have been resolved so we will soon have strong HDTV signals coming from this mountain top (which is in direct line of sight view from my backyard).
