I'd like to integrate a separate preamp into my HT system for music only. My Outlaw A/V 1050 is used as a pre/processor into a B&K ST1400MKII. I know you can run the pre-outs of the A/V into an ACTIVE preamp which then goes into the amp allowing you to use the Receiver for HT and the preamp for music. Could you also do this with a passive preamp?
