I think what you are experiencing is known as "combing". It generally happens for short period of time when the source material on a DVD switches from film to video or vice versa. It can also happen for longer periods of time if video or film is incorrectly flagged on the DVD. It would only happen when the 9200 is in progressive mode. It's a result of the chipset in the 9200 being unable to accurately determine whether you are watching a film or video source. It is possible to manually select film/video mode from the remote.
