Check ALL of your speaker wires to make absolutely sure that there isn't a tiny little strand of wire that might be touchng from pos to neg. This happened to me once and it would cause my receiver to shut down on loud passages. It took a while to find it because it almost wasn't visible. Just pull them all out and redo them to be sure. Also, because you are running a pair of 4 ohm speakers then be sure that there is ample and plentiful ventilation.
