Video newbie. Anybody viewed the Sampo PME-50x6?

TVs, VCRs, DVD players, Home Theater systems and more.

50" Plasma HDTV. All the right stuff on the spec sheet far as I can see. And a price "reasonable" enough to have landed the company in a backorder situation.
Question is, I've found the visual quality brand-to-brand, model-to-model remarkable in its range (poor to great). And I've read some posters (yes, checked the archives) that have a less than favoriable opinion of Sampo's blacks, etc.
Any input? TIA.
