I'm looking for a 40"-52" DLP television, and I've narrowed my choices down to the Samsung Tantus 43" (gen 2) and Panasonic Tau 53" (also gen 2). The difference in screen size isn't a huge consideration, as I'm mainly interested in picture quality and reliability. Does anyone have any opinions/comments about these two TVs. The price difference is significant--I can get the Samsung for $2,900, while the Panasonic is $4,500--but, again, it's the quality I'm concerned with. Any thoughts would be appreciated. TIA.
