I don't know the model # offhand. It is actually VERY slim, sticking out only perhaps 18-20" from the back wall, and you wouldn't need a stand since it's a freestanding model. Sitting 10-12 feet from it, you'd have a large viewing area and excellent clarity.They're not that expensive these days either, and RPTVs in general are lighter and less bulky that their direct-view counterparts.
Keep in mind, you won't be in an apartment forever and an HDTV-ready set can accept, say, an HDTV cable set-top box as well as HDTV either via satellite dish or OTA (off the air). So look 3-5 years down the line too.
