Use the camcorder as the source - you'll be surprised at the quality of the resulting tape. VCR to dVcr with consumer decks looks terrible. The Camcorder to VCR is not at all bad. Used it all the time was I was dubbing and editing demo tapes to send to clients.Be sure to record at highest quality speed.
