Ok I have a Sony FD Trinitron Wega KV-36HS500 HDTV. It is a 36 inch. Today after coming home from class, I turned it on, and there were distorted colors near the right hand edge of the screen. Oh it must just be this channel. So I changed channels, and it was still there. Must be the dish, so I tried my xbox. Still there. HmmmmOk, so maybe its magnectic buildup, ive heard some stuff about that(whatever that is.) So I unplugged the Tv from the electrical socket, and plugged it back in. I turned it on, and the distorted colors near the edge were gone.
My question is. What was this that occured? Should it be occuring? Is my tv busted? Did the quality of the tv and picture degrade from this occurance? Is my tv faulty? Thanks
What should I do. This is the first time this has occured.
Should I be cashing in on my warranty? Or is this normal? Thanks
