I had a H/K DVD5 (I gave it to my brother) and it worked flawlessy for 3 years until I moved. After I plugged it back in the "master" power button worked, the unit went into standby mode. But when I went to power it up (the soft-touch power button underneath) nothing happened. The remote wouldn't turn it on either. After a couple of weeks I tried it again and it magically came on. A couple months later I replaced it and gave it to my brother to use. The same thing happened. It's been at least three weeks and it still won't turn on.
If anybody knows what the secret is I'll be grateful as well.
