PAL Progressive

Hi People,

I'm new to the DVD world and considering grabbing a player.
Can someone explain the term "PAL Progressive" for me
as the player I'm thinking of getting (Pioneer DV565a) doesn't
have it. Does this mean it doesn't support the full 625 lines or something?
