I actually need around 6m to get from where I'm going to hang the plasma to where the iScan Ultra will sit alongside. I can get a 5m cable for £95 plus VAT which equates to around £115, or a 15m cable for £195 plus VAT which is £235. Both still seem rather expensive...! I guess it's much easier to find them in the States; wonder what the shipping cost would be...?Is it true to say that not all DVI cables are created equal i.e. there is an "audiophile" equivalent to the more run of the mill cables that can be found at the online stores? I would have thought that a DVI cable would either fit into the catergory "doesn't work" or "excellent" with no in-between?
Also, if someone could post a list of reputable DVI cable companies I could contact I'd be very grateful...!
