The 7000 doesn't do SACD, but has a good CD output section for a dvd player. Even better, it can make a very good transport when teamed up with a quality DAC for CD output. If you decide not to keep it you might want to list it at www.audiogon.com, which does a good amount of traffic among audiophiles.... rjs
