It plays almost everything...CD's,CDR's,DVD-V,DVD-A,SACD's...and supposedly does it very well for only $180 retail. Best Buy is selling it for that price as is Crutchfield.Crutchfield is the better deal though as they're offering free shipping until 12/31.Home Theater and Sound and Vision magazines have raved about this thing as offering an incredible bang for the buck. In fact, Sound and Vision made it one of the picks in their Annual Reviewer's Choice Awards. It's also getting some great reviews at www.audioreview.com
