Try the Philips Q50 or the 963SA They both have Faroudja processing and even if you dont use the progressive scan output they both have superb image quality. The 963SA( also Philips) has the added capability of playing SACD and DVDA although the latter is not advertised by them my player does it. Put them together with good Video component cables and you will have a very good image even if interlaced.
