I recently purchased an Onkyo TX-SR601 for my smaller family room secondary theater system. I must say I am impressed with the features and the sound - very clean for a receiver. I particularly like the 2nd room speaker output that I have running out to my pool deck.My only complaint is the cheap feel of the volume knob(lightweight plastic).
Not much experience with the Marantz receivers.
