In answer to your questions, its all 6+ channel formats. And as far as my processor is concerned, I do have different sizes of speakers to choose from for all channels. All my speakers are set to small so all bass goes to my single sub. I was thinking about setting my rears to large and use my extra sub (its a JBL 10") in my rear channels since its not doing anything but sitting in my basement and I am hoping that it will relieve my main sub a little during extremely intense moments. Also I am hoping to get around the need to buy another $500+ sub just becuase one single movie in my collection stress my sub (Finding Nemo). No other movie has ever stressed it like Finding Nemo has. And no I don't want to turn my sub down as its as perfectly set into my system as I can get and I only watch movies at reference level... ;)Thanks,
