They began making Grand Wega III TV's in September 2003. Many owners reportedly problems, mainly related to lamp/lamp-positioning problems that caused buzzing and/or no turn-on. These reports have gotten rarer and rarer as Months went on. Sometime after September/October, things seem to have settled down. I haven't heard much(any?) problems with November/December made models.
I own a December made 60WE610, and so far so good. I'm kind of glad the "backorder" forced me to wait, leaving me with a December model...
