The hum that came from nowhere??????

I started having a hum problem n my Home Theater system. This started after changing some amps in the system. I tried cheater plugs on every possible combination of components (no change) I tried all shielded ICs, still humming away!I disconnected everything except the sat reciever, and connected it directlly to the TV, same thing. The hum changes with the picture content. (more white screen = more hum). I diconnected the dish antenae input from the reciever and still have hum, although it varies in volume. I'm lost guys, can you give me any help?? TIA!!
