Plasma image burn

Just got a Panasonic Plasma TV and I'm really paranoid about the dreaded image burn issue.
If I watch in 4:3 mode, but have the sidebars turned "Off" (meaning they are black), do I need to worry about them producing a permanent after-image?
Also, what about network logos that appear fixed in the bottom right of the picture. Do I need to worry about these?
Finally, how long can a still image be safely displayed on the screen?
