I have an X1, great bang for buck and I am very happy with mine. Picture quality is very good on all inputs. You can get by with component video only Dvd player and be very happy with this projector but I use a progressive dvd player with mine at this time. Lots of info. about this unit at AVS forum is what sold me..makes my HD-RPTV look like crap IMO. At this time I only use mine for DVD movies and watch TV on the RPTV in the other room.Dave
