Looks like it will upscale DVD-V and convert video input (e.g. EDTV) to 720p via DVI using Faroudja. Only passes 480p or 576p over component which might be an issue for me since I'm not sure a 16m (50+ ft) DVI cable is practical.Price could be another issue.
