I am in the process of upgrading my Sony str de 835 to something with better overall sound quality, and power.
Specifics on requirements:
2 or 3 sub outs (running def techs front mains and center have LFE inputs)
Power needed, but more for putting detail into 2 channel than to shake the room.
5.1 or 7.1 (won't be able to utilize 7.1 for some time if ever)
No more than 17" wide, and silver face if possible.
Have listened to Denon 3802, B&K avr505, and Rotel separates (realize the disparity in cost, but I am really trying to discern what's out there).
Trying to stay in the used sub $2,000-2,500 range.
Thank you very much for your input.
Mike
