One good thing tht works in your favor is that most of the big boxes have a pretty liberal return policy. A short drive should allow you to pretty much pick and choose what the true winner is.

Also, consider that if you are using a HT receiver you have the option of using it's internal DAC instead ot that in the DVD unit.

If you can go a little more for a LOT more, AudioAdvisor is offering a Pioneer that plays virtually ANY 5 1/4 disc. (DVD, DVD-Audio, SACD, Redbook, etc...) but it's $179.

That being said, I got a Toshiba 2805 (changer) for $99 at a local 6th Avenue a little overa year and a half ago and it works quite well for audio purposes.
