I have been thinking about getting a new Dell 19" LCD for my computer, replacing my 19" CRT. Don't get me wrong--the CRT looks great but it's so deep it almost sticks out the window. The Dell runs about $700 and got high marks in computer mag reviews, and has a DVI connection. The higher-end Radeon graphics cards have a DVI out. Has anyone here watched DVD movies on their LCD computer monitor connected to a high-end graphic card via DVI connection? Is the picture markedly improved? Better than a CRT?
I'm not trying to build a home theater from this, but I occasionally watch some movies on my computer.
Thanks.
regards, townsend
