Sony 36HS510 HDTV Wega...transient noise on power up...is it normal?

Whenever I turn the power on this TV there is a moderately loud popping-springy sound(for lack of a better description), a turn on transient that just lasts momentarily on pressing power on. Set is about 1 month old and I can't be certain if this existed during the first couple of weeks or not but I have just begun to be aware of it enough to pose a question. Just curious if all these sets exhibit this behavior? Thanks.
