If the native resolution of your plasma is 852x480, you want to feed it the best scaled image to 852x480 -- not a rate it will have to rescale (ie, everything other than 852x480). If you don't like or want to use the plasma's internal scaler, you're creating potential artifacts by involving more computations if you don't feed it 852x480.You can cut and paste the following link to a new scaler with a list price within your range. You may be able to find it discounted, but probably not by much:
