Are there any AV receivers that are good at 5.1 and produce Audiophile sound in 5.1 and stereo ?

I have a Denon 3801 and although its great with Home Theater, it lacks a bit when listening to Stereo or Vinyl. So is there something can combines the best of both worlds ?
