Help with pre-amp/amp/speaker combo

68.5.26.48

This site is a great resource and this is my first post. Thanks ahead of time for your replies...

I am looking to build a HT system that also performs very well on stereo material. I am currently looking at the following:

Rotel RSX-1056 (5x75W receiver)
B&W 705 (F and R - maybe 704 up front)
B&W HTM7 (Center)
Sub

I can get the above for well under $3000 after discounts etc. Couple of questions:

1. Is 75W sufficient to power the 705's? What if I upgraded to the 704's?
2. Any opinions on the new 700 series speakers?
3. Should I look at separates and spend a little more? RSP-1068+RMB1075?
4. What other brands should I demo in this price range?
5. For instance, should I look at the B&K Ref 50 and how would it pair with the B&Ws?
6. What subwoofer should I look to add in the near future? Opinion on the SVS models?

Sorry for all the questions but I appreciate the help and advice...
