My parents just bought a 36" Sony TV and although they have no interest in 'home theater', they do own a DVD/VCR combo. I'm thinking about setting them up with an entry A/V surround receiver or an 'all in one' home theater system. I'm leaning toward the Sony brand only because I want to keep the remotes to a minimum since my folks are somewhat technically challenged when it comes to modern gadgets. Once they experience even an entry home theater, I think they will be pleased and might watch more DVD movies. Any recommendations would be appreciated, Sony or otherwise. Thanks!
