I recently bought a Panasonic widescreen HDTV with component inputs. I had been running my Panasonic DVD player (with component output) to my Outlaw 1050 via S-video - the Outlaw does not have component - and to the TV with S-video. I hooked up the DVD player directly to the TV via component and the picture quality is not as good as before. Before being the original setup - DVD player to Outlaw via S-video; Outlaw to TV via S-video. Am I doing something wrong, or is S-video better than component???
