Problem solved!

I went to Brett's Panny site via AVS Forum (I have a Panasonic PT-47wx42) and disabled the SVM as per his instructions. Not only are the "jaggies" gone, but the overall PQ went from very good to excellent. Very simple, and effective, tweak.
