Pioneer Elite DV 59-avi; New units being sold anywhere?

I've been interested in acquiring the 59-avi for a few months because it can connect to my Mitsubishi WS-65813 via HDMI cable, minimizing detail loss. I've seen some reports from those who have the unit, but my experience is that it is unavailable new at any price.
Are they currently being distributed and sold? At on-line retailers? Is it back in production? Anyone know of plans for distribution?
