Need a new receiver to replace my dying unit....

My Denon AVR-3200 just suffered a DSP/IC attack and died. I took it to the service center and am waiting for a repairing cost. The technician, told me the part number and I did a search and found that the part cost $356.00 !!!! SO.....it is time for a replacement.

I don't care much about the stereo but the home theater performance. Since my stereo is at a dedicated room and this is mostly for viewing DVD's , I need something around $500.

Any opinion is well received.
