even though the DVD is a native 480 product. Since all the processing is in the digital domain and they all have DVI out you might investigate. The cheapest are not expensive at all though the Bravo has a bit of a rep for problems.LG (and some others) make a DVD player combined with an HDTV off-air tuner that has gotten some excellent consumer reviews. And the picture looks great in the store.
One less connection to make. Should work well with a 1/4 HD or 1280x720p projector.
Perhaps the true denizens of this forum have an opinion.
