HARMAN KARDON AVR5550 7.1

Hi All, need help. At the moment I have a Harman Kardon AVR5550 7.1 75watts pre channel receiver. Also have magnepan MG12 for front. 2 x 10" powered subs. I am thinking of using MMG-W for rear & MMG-C for center. Can anyone tell me if this is possible? Will I damage any equipment? Will magnepan speakers be too much for the receiver to handle?
My plan was to use the MG12s & subs when listening to audio & use all of them when watching HT.
I only have one room to spare so cant really have 2 systems as much as I wanted to.
