I recently bought a SONY DVD/SACD player. Obviously, while I could hook it up to my stereo amp using both 1) the DVD stereo line out and 2) the front line outputs of the 5.1 (I'm using a separate amp for the rear while watching DVDs), I'd rather just send the front line outs of the 5.1 outputs to my main stereo... but I'm concerned that the signal from the front line outs of the 5.1 is not exactly the same (or as good) as the stereo (non 5.1) line outs.Question: When you play a stereo CD or stereo SACD, is the signal from the front line outs of the 5.1 *exactly* the same (and as good) as the stereo line outs?
Thanks.
