AT this price range the store should have an ISF certified tech to make all the adjustments to the projection TV. Otherwise they are pretty poor. Direct view seems to work better with broadcast TV, because the smaller size does not show the flaws as much. Projection is more unforgiving of signal quality. Besides you still have to sit in certain places, which may or may not be a problem for you.My inclination is to buy a 32 or 36" tv & wait a few years for the dust to settle regarding HDTV & digital TV before buying a projection or plasma TV.
