Just an F.Y.I.,Pioneer has posted on it's website, after the fact, that the only "authorized" online dealers are Circuit City and Crutchfield. Pioneer originally posted the DVD-525/414 $50 rebate on Nov. 1st and didn't post the disclaimer for internet shoppers until recently. They will not honor the rebate from any other online dealers. Yep, I got suckered. I purchased mine from Netmarket on the Nov. 5th, it showed up with the rebate form inside, now I'm screwed. The only reason I swayed to Pioneer was the rebate. Mind you, my 525 works fine despite how noisy it is but I don't appreciate this type of underhanded business practice. Please pass the word so others are made aware. I will be eating my shipping charges and returning my player and shopping for a quieter one. Thanks for nothing, Pioneer.
