Then pick the one with the best features, controls that you like, BUT not stuff you'll never use. At this $$ range it's pretty much all the same in terms of sound quality.

Although my advice is to save your money & build the system piece by piece with the best individual components you can. Look for used stuff. Yes, dolby digital is great, but you can appreciate dolby pro logic for a good long while as you research what gets you hot & bothered enough to get your hard earned cash. In the end you will be far happier. Instant gratification is seldom satisfying.
